       Katie is a short (1:15), whimsical orchestral piece for the flute, oboe, clarinet, trumpet, french horn, timpani (kettledrums), marching cymbals, the glockenspiel, harp, 2 violin sections, a viola section, cello section and contrabass section in ⁴/₄ time in the speed of Moderato. It's named after and dedicated to friend, Katie E., as it fits her personality quite well.
